I'm noticing a trend among these games...it's them being well crafted and good games.

Uhm, another would be some combination of casual, very wide appeal, and multiplayer. Also, plenty of these are probably bought by parents as gifts.

Also, this dude gives me uncanny valley vibes. Bleeeh.
