If he was partly responsible for Postal 2, I can give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean, one of the single best games off all times was developed by a trans person. (Mule - By Dan Bunten, later Dani)
He wasn't involved in Postal 2 originally, he worked on a mod or two and latched on for the 2012 Steam release.
And if they weren't 'trans' when they made something, IMO it doesn't count. Their assertion that they were 'always trans' and just hadn't discovered it yet is bogus, and one of the more annoying ways they try to undermine reality.
Fair. I thought he actually had something to do with Postal 2.
I'm also generally of the mindset that trans people have helped ruin this industry. However, I still have to admit that one of the greatest games ever made, was done by a trans person. (Along with other solid titles) It's not so much that I wish to argue the point, more so that I just find it interesting.
Amusing side note: He later regretted transitioning and wished he hadn't.
Just looking at the article, people can transition without getting it ripped off (in fact, 90% of MTF people don’t chop it off), and Bunten specifically said they regretted the “sex change”, albeit because this is all the way back in the early 90s, I’m not sure if that refers to just that procedure, or transition as a whole.
Being in the FGC and regularly going to tournaments introduces you to people you’d never meet otherwise, for better or for worse. Anecdotally, I’ve never met an FTM person in real life before, which is honestly somewhat strange, but maybe that’s just me making assumptions.

Mule seems good though.

Does it count if he was Dan Bunten when he made it, not Dani Bunten?
