Lesbianism, much more than gays, has been a political ideology more than an orientation since Feminism took off.
Which meant a lot of brainwashing, scare tactics, and grooming confused girls into it and then saddling them with the sunken cost and other ostracization fears to keep them there.
Regular gay dicking never took off as a purely political thing the same way (though Metrosexual and Queer Eye at its height tried), but there are shit tons of girls going lesbo entirely out of fear and feeling they need to for politics sake.
Its because the mass fear tactics have been incredibly effective on middle class girls.
I know plenty of girls who think random guys on the street are out to try and traffic them the moment they let their guard down, or rape them. They live in complete terror of it every day.
I can almost understand why they'd want to go lesbo to "escape" that paranoia. The problem of course being that are being lied to and hyped up to that point from bad actors out to manipulate them.

They’ve learned to inherently distrust men, off the bat, and it colours their every interaction. And thus, they turn to lesbianism, to, as you say, get away from the “big, bad, scary men”!

I notice that many of those same girls are fucking terrified of shit like germs, and coof, and were super-enthusiastic mask wearers… And many are at least somewhat overweight…
There’s definitely some degree of correlation between all those traits, lol…
