I'm still a couple hours behind but I've been watching Viva's Rumble stream covering the Fani Willis and Nathan Wade corruption. If you're not willing to watch everything, definitely find some highlights later if you can. It's wild.
Among other things: Wade claims that he never had a relationship during his marriage or after his separation (in 2023), but also that he did have a relationship with Fani starting in 2022, but also maybe starting in 2019. He also claims that he pays for absolutely everything with his business credit card and lets his tax preparer sort out personal expenses. He also claims that Fani has paid him back in cash for every one of their numerous trips together and that he has never once deposited the cash because why would anyone ever deposit cash? That's just silly. Tens of thousands of dollars is just walking around money.
But the best part, IMO, was when he tried to pretend that he didn't understand what public funds were, then claimed that he'd never been paid from public funds which the lawyer then had to clarify that he had been paid by his law firm which had been paid by Fulton County.
Now Fani's taking the stand and she's breathing fast and clearly agitated. It's probably going to be wild. These people are not smart -- I actually don't think they even think they did anything wrong.
*edit - holy crap, Fani's trying to claim that she never made a single withdrawal from her bank to make these cash repayments to Wade because she just always has a whole bunch of cash at home because she's a woman and that's what women should do.
The same way they swept blatant voter fraud under the rug. By lying, gaslighting and accusing others of what they are guilty.
As far as the judge, I don't trust literally anyone in the judiciary. They're an illegitimate profession in my eyes, have been for more than a century.
It's promising that it's even being argued in court. The voter fraud was never even given an evidentiary hearing -- this is far, far beyond that.
The defense attorneys basically dug up an affair between the DA and the special prosecutor that she appointed which (nominally) has nothing to do with the case that the special prosecutor is leading against Trump and his lawyers, but the judge thinks there's enough evidence of potential conflict of interest that it needs to be heard. It would have been very easy for him to say, "nothing to see here, let's not have this distraction."
It's not so much that the defense attorneys dug it up. A lot of this stuff originates from Wade's divorce who is losing her shit at how much of a liar and a cheat he is. Especially since he's pocketing tons of illegal money (probably to keep from her getting).
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
