I'm not saying we don't, I'm saying their inaction LED to this result.

If instead of kicking the can, it was dealt with when it first became an issue, we wouldn't need force at all.

It's what makes the whole situation so tragic. All we had to do was be mean. Now it will take a lot more to put things right.
