I was about to tell you it's obvious but on second glance I'm not sure how to read the map either, or if it's even meant to represent data. Maybe it shows "the future" if trends continue? Also probably based on individual cities. Also I hope those people in the ocean are ok.
That's Iceland, the Canary Islands, and Cabo Verde in the ocean, though the latter two should be more to the east. And I'm pretty sure the map is about relative proportions of global population instead of exact positions. White markers for the people we're told are the privileged majority and black markers for the supposed minorities who outnumber us.
