There's a scene with Oppenheimer defends his work on the Manhattan Project to his friend by saying, "It's not your people that are being targeted." Because Oppy is a jew. What strikes me is he defends the leftist in the Spanish Civil War despite them killing Catholics and raping nuns. I'm not a blame the jooz guy but I find it interesting that defending the Jewish community is good, but destroying a Christian community isn't even a consideration when picking sides.

You see a man running away from a crime scene with a gun, you turn the corner and see a victim on the ground dying of a gun wound. The police question you about the assailant fleeing the scene wearing a green jacket and running with a gun in hand.
I'm not sure if the jacket was green, therefore he must be innocent because I don't know 🤷🏻
I'm not looking for an argument. I honestly don't know if he leaked info. I know just enough that either outcome wouldn't surprise me. I don't know enough to have an opinion on it.
I agree, this isn't much of an argument. Either way my last comment is this: if the jacket was teal, what does that change?
"We must know exactly which one of the communists leaked the data" Why? They're communists and/or communist-adjacent. They clearly did it together, comrade.
The movie says Fuchs leaked the info. I'm assuming in reality at least Fuchs was caught as well. Was it possible others including Oppy did as well, sure it was.
Oppenheimer was the 'facilitator.' He wasn't dumb, the agency director couldn't directly hand out info. He just conveniently allowed info to flow through channels it shouldn't have.
i'm just gonna quickly chime in and give a quick reminder - that a film does not always give 100% correct info. it can alter and twist some things, or ignore some other important info & context, and essentially paint a completely different picture of a person by doing so.
