Considering there's plenty of anime with fanservice to bitch about, why the one dressed in a way that even Islamic countries might go 'we'll allow it'?
In order to find fanservice in anime nowadays you have to go out of your way to find it. The image in question is something a fat ugly christmas cake would run into while job hunting.
I don't get it either. Maybe it's just the idea that heterosexual men may find the image pleasing and real women around may find that to be a more successful mating strategy than being an obnoxious feminist. .
Maybe it's spiteful envy that all men need is a HEALTHY woman both physically and mentally and they embody the opposite of that?
Very possible. They know they are damaged, if not broken, goods and don't like men having other options (even imaginary ones)
because the character is normal and they are not. That is all. Like a troon looking in a mirror, they cannot abide being reminded of their inferiority.
