The games console was always a transitional phase. It was a low price-point, dumbed down box with low specs to educate console tards on how to play games.
PCs were, and always have been the biggest market for games. Admittedly, it has been more profitable to charge a massive stupidity tax to sell games to mouth-breathing console tards. Console games have consistently cost a lot more than PC games, and they maintain their price for much longer, as they continue to stay relevant due to fixed hardware generations.
I guess that it has been a major advantage that console tards buy their games again with every generation of consoles? That must be nice for developers?
Now that console tards no longer burst into tears at the sight of a keyboard and mouse, they might find the strength of character to plug a controller into their PC. Selling a console as a loss leader to keep a tarded, captive market is no longer viable. It won't be viable for the PS6 either.
The big difference between Playstation and X-Box is that Microsoft has some kind of plan for the inevitable convergence of the hardware systems.
