A music channel owned by the media arm of Russian energy giant Gazprom was fined $11,300 for spreading “LGBT propaganda among minors” in a 90s-era music video that shows two women kissing, the independent Vyorstka news outlet reported Friday.

I’m confused, I thought we were supposed to respect the customs of other countries and not impose our evil western ways. I remember when Uganda had anti lgbt laws they went crazy

You're supposed to only respect the customs and laws that would weaken our own country. When it comes to fining TV channels for LGBT propaganda, and measures to prevent voter fraud like requiring an ID and dipping fingers in ink, those don't count.
