The constant factor is that they are always pushing the envelope. That's why as soon as you accept one thing, they will invent the next thing; and that is why we get increasingly absurd things pushed on us.
It is an endless tide. And that is why I support holding the line, or pushing the line back, even when it is something I agree with.
It’s basically Newton’s third law in action. Every social movement generates change via fundraising and administrative inertia, and none of that shit magically disappears when “goals” are met. No, the movement always continues, lurching further and further in some direction, until it meets an equal and opposite force and is stopped.
This means that the civil rights movement has - inevitably - turned into a supremacy movement, and the only way to stop it from oppressing its original target is for people to directly and aggressively fight it. Those people will - invariably - be called racists.
