Force of habit from dealing with normies and irregularity deniers.
Still waiting for an explanation of how 125% turnout happens.
While there were obvious problems, nobody can really argue that Joe Biden didn't get at least 70 million votes. Those numbers still matter for the purpose of analysis.

Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Unfortunately, the entire process was so lacking in credibility and oversight that we'll never know.
If I had to speculate, I'd guess less than 60 million votes. The man didn't campaign and when he did they were sparsely attended. (Yes, Covid, I know. And Democrats really were scared to death of it, I know.) He wasn't even leading in the primaries until all of his competition magically simultaneously quit and endorsed him.
Yes, I know a lot of people hated Trump, but I don't think it was that many. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to over the past few years that have said things along the lines of, "I thought I was a Democrat but they're just mean and insane now." I've talked with zero people who went the other way.
I haven't met anyone going the other way either, but I've met tons of people who think loony level shit. Including claims like "The Heritage Foundation opposes race mixing", "Jordan Peterson is a raging homophobe", "Republicans just like going to drag shows and harassing the dancers", "There were no BLM riots", and "There is no anti-white sentiment in any institution."
Remember, many people still think CNN is a moderate news cite; and NPR is highly reliable.
I know what I believe is true, but it's because I dug so far down the rabbit hole I found it. Everyone else is living on a mountain of lies.
I still don't understand why we're taking the results of an obviously bullshit contest as indicative of anything.
