I was just reading another one from Las Cruces New Mexico, which was a cop. He shot a guy who tacked another cop and grabbed the other cop's taser. He shot the guy point blank, because that's how close everything was happening.
They just charged this cop, though the crime was a year ago. No idea what he was supposed to do differently, other than die.

I hadn’t heard that story. Wow. I guess I’m glad I didn’t end up being a cop after I got out the Air Force. I was really considering it
