I enjoy learning languages (have some French, Portuguese, Latin, and Italian books because I’d like to learn those eventually since they are close to Spanish) but agree that if you are in someone else’s country then it’s on you to learn the language (when in Rome). If I had to live in Japan or wherever for business you better believe I’d be learning as fast as I could.
