True but it’s fun to imagine the possibilities. Then again that’s what we have sci-fi for. Probably why I love golden age sci- fi due to the spirit of exploration
What sucks is that for years I would buy a massive compendium of the awards winning sci-fi from the previous year. After the sad puppies fiasco and when I saw that to qualify for an award you had to be a non straight/non white leftist (preferably female) who hates America I stopped getting those. Thankfully there is so much older sci-fi that I could spend the next forty years reading every story from the 80s
If you haven't gotten a look at the three I mentioned I really would recommend it. Castalia House has high quality sci-fi and the Wardogs Inc series is among the best.
