easy solution, just stop carrying toys altogether, cite the law and the volitility of the def of gendered toys and the fine then state it was more cost effective to just NOT carry the toys (in store at least). watch how fast either one of two results plays out they make bank off online sales, parents pressure the lawmakers with 2 likely sub results they repeal the damn thing (lol no). or they clamp down harder possably trying to force stores to carry the stock (in which case hello lawsuit).
California is also the place where stealing is legal, as long as you don't steal more than 1000$ at once. Going deeper with online sales would be one way to try to stay in business in that hellhole.
I should really go get some vagrant-looking clothes and wander around stores in downtown Seattle that display obvious political signaling like trans flags and help myself to my totally-not-shoplifting $900 armfuls of stuff.
I would never recommend or encourage that type of behaviour! I would also never go out of my way to mention that a hoodie, a facemask and carrying yourself with a different slouch and demeanour than your usual ones would all be great ways to help ensure that they never identify you!
