Whatever works for your body. I’ve known vegans who had to go back to eating meat for health reasons. Unfortunately most vegans I’ve met have been kinda annoying but not all. I just hate the blanket statement that meat is terrible for you when if prepared right can be a good source of protein and minerals
The actual problem is people don't know how to make nutricious meals, and then blame the meal. If I'm picky I don't worry because I take multivitamins. They're actually called snake oil these days. But, whatever. Look who's healthy, it's not the people that refuse to make sure their body gets the nutrition it needs.
Failing at nutrition is just easier to do when you're vegan.
I take vitamins and make sure to eat fruits and veggies. I’m working on weight loss as well (doctor said back in October to lose 100 pounds). My strategy is to eat super healthy all week and then Sunday eat what I want with a few exceptions for holidays and stuff. Also I try to walk 5 miles/10000 steps a day and when days are longer I cycle between 5/7/9 mile walks
Good luck. You find whatever works for you, and stick to it! Everyone is different. None of us like the same things, none of us have the same habits. Idk why'd anyone would think anything would work for everyone.
