How is a random mother teaching her daughter to be a normal woman (or at least what used to be normal) considered "news"
This is just sad.
tiktok and instagram postings
Oh, that's the reason why people are paying attention to this.
Dunno if excessive social media usage is the wisest idea if you're teaching your daughter to be "traditional". Being an example for others is a good thing, but considering women are involved and its social media, its hard to tell if this is completely legitimate or if its just a mask of narcissism (or somewhere in-between, who knows)
I dislike the trad-wives because they seem to not want to work, there's nothing to do once your kids are in school even if she spends 3 hours at the gym. She wouldn't be able to be a SAHW without being an influencer.
Yeah, being able and willing to work is important imo. My grandparents (who were essentially a second pair of parents to me) somehow took care of us and their children while both of them were working, which is insane but I consider it admirable.
They were also both capable of taking care of themselves if necessary. However, I believe that the terms "career" and "independence" are loaded terms for women, its a bad situation. If I had to choose between an '"independent career women" and "supportive homemaker", I'd choose the latter. But if the wife is actually willing to do anything for the family that she can (and isnt morally wrong ofc), I consider that to be the best option.
Well, it's actually a good thing for stay-at-homes to be able to get out. The influencer thing is the wrong direction. Women have been leaders in charity forever. IMO that's the best place.

Good message at least, but dunno about that part.

Kids at school? Gross, big turn-off...
