I've never seen anyone either here or in in KIA or KIA2 make any comment about how you should or should not mod your games. You want only trans that fuck your character, sure go ahead. Does that make you a degenerate? sure but I don't care how you mod your single player game.
It's because there are no gigantic companies or entities telling us to make gay characters in to straight, non-Whites into Whites, or put Nazi flags back into games which the developers have removed them for 'sensitivity reasons.' We are fixing the Progressive degeneracy that has damaged our culture, and ultimately the world, by villainizing what used to be normal statements of reality.
"Representation" in a medieval time-period game does not make factual sense. The feelings of non-Whites do not matter when trying to depict a real time period on our planet. Making half the characters in a game have gay relationships is not representative of the reality of there being only a small number of gays in the population to begin with, yet there will be 2-3 of them in each game or show created.
This obnoxious push to over-represent small populations of behaviors or lifestyles by Progressives and Leftists is not representative of reality, and the outsized number of them that appear in every single creative project they develop has pissed the lot of us off so now we have to respond in kind to fix it.
We are modding to compensate for how hard all of the 'gay good,' 'non-White good,' 'non-Christian good,' 'foreigner good' propaganda that has infiltrated our once apolitical entertainment. Now developers explicitly state what they're doing on twitter in order to appear like they're doing a social good, and their personal politics come to infect every aspect of our fun 'get away from the world for a bit' activities we use to chill out.
If the creators of games like "White Christian Fantasy: the MMO" were not immediately labeled as the worst people in the world for making such a game, smeared as evil, kicked off of every gaming platform, debanked, and threatened with violence every day then there would probably be a lot less need to mod games ourselves to strike the balance we feel is necessary. When the internet's largest modding website will let mods for killing children stay up (Skyrim, Fallout, etc) but ban ones that change a gay flag into an American flag (Spiderman 1 & 2), then it should be extremely obvious what kind of people we're fighting against and what the problem has become.
That makes sense, you probably should. While I get your point and I can't speak for others but I never took offense or cared if you wanted to play what ever you wanted as long as you don't push on others.
However, the left is having a war on anyone who wants to play games without sexual degeneracy or trying to have an immersive game. Shocking to the left, average persons don't try to but fuck you and is even worse in a medieval game.
I would expect diversity and degeneracy in Cyberpunk but not in a medieval setting.
The left doesn't go just you are bigoted if you want to play an immersive game free of degeneracy but actively ban any mod that tries to improve the game. They even fail to realize how broken the setting becomes once you add modern day diversity without a reason for it.
If it was only one side calling the other either degenerate/ bigoted but respected your right to play as you want it would be fine, I don't see how that is hypocritical.
