The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon outsourcing it to allied governments and “private” companies.
I am honestly not surprised they are using specifically push notifications. They have most of the text info in it and are easier accessible than some apps who might have encrypted chats. I wonder how many apps do show sensitive data in their notifications. I would hope some apps now fix it by making them ambiguous I. E. "you have a new message from xyz" instead of the content.
