Survivor Islands, one male island, one female island, is hillarious.
The women keep getting lost on a small island, are crying from stress, screaming from critters, can't keep a fire going or make clean water, nor get enough food, and need outside medical care.
While the men have already established a functional camp. Shelter, food, clean water, can find their way easily all over the small island.
It may be funny, but actually living men separate from women is also a dumb idea. That was never the intention of God or nature or anything. I'm sure men can survive better on their own, but if you want to thrive, as you see with more primitive people, you assign gender roles and work together.
Wammin' are actually good on survival shows individually. Or can be. Their bodies are more efficient than men. So when you're in a situation where you're gonna starve for a while no matter what you do, women are better at preserving weight.

A scenario like the above without outside help results in women dying in days / months while men go extinct because no women to bear children.
Indeed we're not ment to be on different islands.
