All i stated was their was no god. other christians and people of other believes praise their god, say good god. or praise god. or whatever. the fact alone you had an explosion over someone saying. "i don't believe a god exist" is very telling of your mental. now again, if you believe in a god cool. i didn't even say anything direct like. "their is no god" but you went off the deep end over another person's opinion.
now i will not be answering your question regarding is murder wrong because i've been there before with other christians. you believe god is a necessary evil... to keep people from doing bad things because without a god people would fall into murder and chaos... i-i actually disagree. and you seem like the type of who believes without a god we'd all be dead.
again i did not mean to coax this out of you. this was something you inferred. and i full on disagree people needing a god to do good, or to stay inline. but whatever floats your boat i guess.
you believe god is a necessary evil... to keep people from doing bad things
No, that's an overreach. God is only necessary to DEFINE absolute good and absolute bad.
All moral absolutism is a fabrication. It does not exist in nature. But being a fabrication does not make something not real.
Without god, the moral relativists are "correct". A cat's sadistic joy of playing with a mouse it has already wounded is right and good because the cat's own existence and satisfaction is all that exists to the cat.
We humans invented god. As surely as we invented tools and weapons. We invented god to serve a purpose, to solve a problem which we have studied for thousands of years. We looked for a source of moral absolutes that could be universalized onto all beings. And what we found is that no source within ourselves would serve. We had to project the problem onto something external and untouchable. Law is insufficient. Tyrants are unreliable. Only god could fit the task.
this is dumb. i believe humans would've been fucked with or without a god. i think it's rather uncertain if things would've gotten worse, or better, with or without religion. the results are kinda inconclusive if human history would've been better off with or without it.
also, morals don't exist so your right on the money with that however... despite what i said earlier... some bad people in position of power like... kings, and rulers. would times use god or be fill in for gods who would unfairly rule over his subjects. the problem your making here is. with the advent creation of god! we could project our morals on to him, which other people could follow.
wrong, people don't need a god to make judgement systems of right and wrong. most people already know their wrongs from their right. also, their are some devout christians with... questionable morals. i believe morals are things that best work for society, and those morals can change over time. so while your car example is rudimentary. it does sum up morals and the extant of it.

Yes, they did. Tyrants are an effective source of absolute right and wrong. Backed with an army they are certainly capable of actualizing their moral system.
But as I said, they're not a reliable source. Not every tyrant is just, and even just tyrants are still mortal. They grow old and die (or, tbh, more often are killed).
Perhaps someday we'll make a machine that can be a perfect tyrant, and on that day god can retire. But frankly I think people like yourself will hate that even more than they hate god, because in that case you'll have a tangible target.
i'm more upset about the purpose of a god. what this god chooses to do/not do. some say god created us and doesn't interfere with human affairs. ok, that doesn't sound to bad of a concept. however...
in the bible he does interfere all the time! so the next question is... suffering, or extreme suffering. holocaust, the crusades. WW1 and many other needless acts of violence. so if god is a concept that helps keeps us all together... why is it their are wakes of bodies in this concept that is necessary for peoples well beings? now again, i can't say those same problems wouldn't have existed in a atheistic world. but it's certainly not any better in a theistic world either.
yeah before we even go over this.
