Well look at what happened to saints row
GTA is exponentially more popular than SR and has so much brand recognition going for it that normies will buy it in droves just for that alone. This game is NOT going to bomb like the new Saints Row did.
That’s wishful thinking, what we’ve seen from multiple franchises is even the biggest ones aren’t bulletproof
But there's lag time. The Last of Us 2 still made money, although a Part 3 would be guaranteed to bomb.
