The very real problem is that once a crazy person latches onto you, it can be almost impossible to shake them because crazy people out produce normal people by a factor of 1,000 or more. Most normal people don't leave any comments, or at most a few per week. A crazy person will make hundreds per day. If you block them they just make another account, a normal person can't be bothered but the crazy will do it for literally years.
Linking real names has been tried. Most notably on the Blizzard forum, where it backfired almost instantly, with credible threats being thrown around left and right. The crazy people are of course, more prolific at harassing people in real life as well and now you've just empowered them.
Despite what some New Zealand agricultural enthusiasts will tell you, the purpose of doxing is to threaten people. Either directly or stochastically by allowing more dysfunctional crazies to find you. Forcing real name linking would doxing everyone and thus threatening everyone.
