I was hoping this was just a rumor but it is Netflix. Denzel is one of my all time favorite actors. Back when Equalizer came out I didn’t mind the race swap since they weren’t everywhere all the time. Now even my love of his work won’t save him, plus I don’t have Netflix anymore. I’m so tired of this as well as the attack on history. I need to make a movie about Mansa Musa and have half the cast be white or Asian and sit back and smirk while the usual suspects have a meltdown.
Anything Asian is fine since they are MASSIVELY racist especially to black people (compared to the west, and Johnny's actions in Japan didn't help) that if they tried to take a historically great Asian figure and make them black, that thing will sink harder than the Titanic. It's why I'm expecting that next Assassin's Creed to flop in Asia.
Flipping the race bending around won't do much, just do what Angel Studios did, make a great film, release it, make money. That simple. They're so focused on race bending they forget to write a script until the last minute or at least, that's how it seems watching it.
True or a studio that makes accurate period pieces. I love period pieces but I refuse to watch any recent ones. I love pre diversity obsession bbc as well. They used to have some great programs but at least the free streaming services have a lot of the older content.
