Reading this a couple times, so I’m not misunderstanding anything, I’m understanding that holy fuck, TRP shit starts being applicable from way earlier on then I thought, but high schoolers hooking up, or in general hooking up does require the skills talked about by the manosphere, and we’ve literally had dozens of posts over the past few months stating that the male virginity rate for people in their 20s is soaring.
Introverted people and nerds aren’t the only people who’d complain about this sort of stuff, but I overall get your point that the people who didn’t get to hookup with others in highschool and college would probably the ones who’d complain the most, but as you’ve probably seen, that’s beginning to be the majority of people.
I have to sidestep drunk sex mainly because I genuinely haven’t thought that hard about it (especially since in that specific, certain states’ Romeo and Juliet laws doesn’t cover that age gap). I can however address the peeping shit, as imo, if we’re gonna say that certain MTF people are attempting transition to do things like that, and it should be a sex offense for them, I think it should be a sex offense in the case of someone like Mineta as well.
Dirty comments in school, I’ll definitely say that it depends on what the exact terms are, but overall I don’t think that counts. You asking that girl to show you her tits was literally consensual as she did so, so that wouldn’t even be a sex offense in the first place (unless there was an age gap, which I mainly mention because there have been instances of high school seniors getting charged with CP because they received nudes from freshmen).
Overall I get your point that you believe that complaints on Mineta are overblown, but I in general think that certain complaints aren’t as awful.
But I’ll just reiterate that modern society doesn’t allow for non-Chads/attractive + confident men to really get access to women to begin with, and it’s only getting worse as time goes on. I think the key showcase of Mineta is during the co-op work term thing: It shows him in a janitor outfit vaccuuming and cleaning up for Mount Lady, bemoaning that "this isn't the kind of roleplay I signed up for". He is standing next to a beautiful woman in spandex laying down stretched out, and he's just... doing basic chores, and nothing more.
He talks about the idea of mixed-group activites to other boys, who then enact those activities (group swim class, room showcase, etc), but notably, he never enacts those ideas by himself.
Mineta is an annoying character, but he literally does nothing, and therefore, does nothing wrong. A Mineta who was more attractive and less whiny... Would be an invisible background character NPC of a tier that would make The Eminence In Shadow green with envy. He... would occasionally chat with the sparky kid, make one weird hand gesture, be socially awkward about inviting people to check out his room, and note that you don't become cool just by being a hero.
