You skipped my point in the first comment to try and make this argument:
The American establishment HAS power, Elon ain't going to directly antagonise an establishment when they've done everything but assassination to stop a former president from running again.
From the actions of the Biden administration, I really doubt they DO give a fuck about the UK in general, they just assume they'll play ball with whatever they do.
The amount of times Biden snubbed the UK apparently to 'appeal to his Irish heritage' and just the general not caring other than getting Assange, I really do think they don't care about anything other than Ukraine and causing more wars in the middle east.
The US is an empire. It's not going to let anti-immigration loose just because they are active in the UK, not the US. It will let them loose for other reasons, like the ones I've been talking about.
