Painting the opposition as inhuman monsters whose only desire is irrational genocide so that they're totally justified in killing them all and taking their stuff?

Too bad your government is almost certainly sending your tax dollars to one or the other.
You mean sending tax dollars to both.
And importing the problem into as many neighborhoods as possible.
