34 Real street sign seen in Singapore. "Moment of anger, Lifetime of regret" (media.scored.co) posted 1 year ago by woxter 1 year ago by woxter +35 / -1 58 comments share 58 comments share save hide report block hide replies
I was going to ask why the sign is in English, but Wikipedia claims English is lingua franca for government in Singapore.
But you still embarrassed yourself by showing you know nothing about Singapore and yet still feel fit to post a pointless comment.
My guess is he was posting in case anyone else was wondering the same thing.
English being the primary language in an Asian city is unusual, especially if you don't know Singapore's history.
His post wasn't even informative though. "Wikipedia claims it is lingua franca in Singapore", which suggests that Wikipedia might be incorrect about this fact.
Neither were both of your replies, and yet that didn't stop you opening your mouth like an obese redditor and spewing clown takes.
Everybody should name their source when they make a claim, and Wikipedia contains mistakes too.
