Not convinced Russia has it in them to fight Muslims. Besides the fact that almost all their allies in Asia are Muslim countries, they have this idea of Russia being a melting pot federation. They pander to white nationalism now but the demographic changes are inevitable and it's not going to be a white country forever.

China on the other hand have showed they won't let the Muslims have an inch. They've got the brutality, but I'd worry about their competency if they had to fight an actually effective insurgency.
