I'm in my early 20s and even I think this is disgusting and dishonest.
History is full of good and bad, but what's important is that we learn from it. We can accept that we're not perfect yet also turn negatives into positives. How can we do that if we can't see history for ourselves?
Ironically, I'm Latino. I'm not sure if that makes me one of the left's preferred victims, but even I think this statue deserves to exist. Erasing history is not the answer.

If only holographic projection was cheap, just slap one up at the site. It gets removed, repeat ad infinitum
