The image that you're referring to I believe people said was from Samurai Warriors 4. And that's not even the latest entry in the franchise, so it's been there a while.
That sounds much more correct yeah, appreciate it. And it was certainly a while ago, which just makes it even more outlandish that its the only real example I can think of that isn't a mod.
