From what I recall, the majority opinion here about the Ukraine kerfuffle was always that it's just two corrupt assholes fighting, that they both suck in varying measures, that it's not our problem, we shouldn't get involved and it'd be better for everyone to end this quickly before Russia and China solidify their relationship even further, and that it was utterly obvious that the news cycle was suddenly spending so much more time focusing on this only because Biden had so many major conflicts of interest with Ukraine and because talking about covid was no longer popular with the masses.
