Reimer was not exceeding decibel restrictions, nor was his amplification device unlawful, but rather a Peace Officer issued him a ticket because, per their judgment, reading a Bible in public was deemed to cross the threshold of what a reasonable person would consider annoying.
In other news, yes we actually tried charging a pastor for reading the bible in a public place.
Nothing was "tried"; he was arrested, taken out of the public space, and held for weeks without recourse to justice.
The fact that they dropped the charges isn't a win, it's an admission that they never had the authority to arrest him in the first place but did so anyway.
Never forget that the people pushing to groom children have completely infiltrated all public sector unions in Canada, including police unions.
This dude was also (temporarily, obviously) disappeared. He got arrested, but no one would say where he was in the system, and actually claimed he'd been released when it seemed he wasn't. Scary stuff.
