Speaking personally, as a retired NCO, I'm not sure I'd want to be supervising people being induced into signing up from the permanently online segment of Gen Z.
And even those enlistments would be voluntary. Now take all those problems and add the fact that you now have a bunch of pissed off conscripts who were never allowed to say no. That's why the military is against the draft more than anyone. The officer class doesn't want to get fragged again like in Vietnam.
