My issue with this is, it's disingenuous. I don't have a big problem with the viewpoint itself, actually, and find it kind of whimsical...but presumably these people do have scientists, right? So this is all bullshit; they know why these processes occur, so this is all fluff. That's my issue. Believe in God, believe in Allah, whatever. But be honest. You can believe in God and think the natural world is amazing...but you're just lying if you write a fucking physics textbook and focus on this shit.
And, as you say, the hypocrisy is astounding. Reddit thinks this is great. But America can't fucking even have the Ten Commandments (largely areligious actually) in schools, or apply any sort of values at all, because apparently that would violate the First Amendment the leftists totally care about so deeply. Fuck these people. Their
hypocrisycomplete lack of principles is their worst quality.Slightly off topic, but as someone who is not even a Christian (yet...I probably will be at some point with all the actual fucking demons on the opposing side), the removal of the Ten Commandments was a fucking travesty. Thou Shalt Have Standards and Values...oh my, so fucking controversial, remove it and teach kids to have gay anal sex posthaste! Fuck you. Woodchipper. Now.
The Christians had the right idea all along, didn't we?
Hopefully one day you realize we were right about other things.
About what? That's awfully vague.
And, for the record, I'm merely not personally a Christian, I'm certainly not anti-Christian either.
This seems like the way you get Rurohallah Khameinei the Purple Robed to approve your science book. They won't read past a few pages.
Perhaps, and I saw someone else proposing that type of angle as well. Still painfully retarded though. Heck, perhaps it's worse in that light.
