Er, why ARE they getting directly involved? Seriously this ain't even close to Ukraine. Israel can glass Gaza by itself easy if they adopt the same policy of Hamas of 'they all voted in their leaders so they aren't civilians'
Which not to be a cold hearted bastard (which I am) but kinda hope happens. The two state system has failed and doesn't work when one side literally calls for the genocide of your people (which are unarmed, seriously, they should have as many guns per citizen as Switzerland given everyone who surrounds them wants them dead). So just finish for good now so it's finished.
The US getting directly involved in anyway seems like standard Biden administration overreaction after a fuck up that probably makes everything worse.
To play devils advocate, a ton of Americans were killed at that music festival that was happening over there. So going and parking a carrier off the shore could stand as a show of force.
Now that is not to say I know which way this goes. But I still lean toward us staying out of it outside of our typical current levels. But it is a possibility.
There's a video going around of a white woman with dreads, stripped naked dead after clearly being raped in the back of a truck being stomped on by terrorists.
Some people did some digging and found out she may be a German national on a holiday there. This is clearly an international attack given all the victims, so while you got the 'victim class refugees' cheering in the streets about it, a lot of western countries could be convinced to say nothing, look the other way as Gaza starts hearing mass artillery fire incoming..
I watched the same video. Where's the rape?
was it the one with the israeli passport they are trying to pass around as german sympathy-bait?
