It definitely wont now, because I guarantee Israel is going to go apeshit and just flatten everything. Especially after the mass civilian casualties that have been inflicted, and after the only reason Gaza exist as a base for Hamas is because Israel gave it up expecting reconciliation.
That said, unlike with Ukraine, I am not on team "Money and bullets." Israel has their own military that is quite advanced, their own funding sources that more than cover their cost, and their own arms industry that is some of the best in the world. They dont really need extra help to do what they will do.
About the only real issue I am seeing is that it only got this far on the grounds of "What complacency does to a motherfucker", and so I imagine there will be heads rolling. But even if it gets rid of Bibi, I imagine he is going to be replaced by someone even further right chanting "peace was never an option" (unlike what I have seen some Leftist saying).
Same. It could work, in theory, if Pan Arabism never happened, and if Iran and Saudi Arabia weren't keen to keep Israel on the back-foot.
But it ain't. Frankly, I'd bet it's possible we might see an expanded Intafada just generally against jews because the Islamists are Islamists.
There's always a ton of political pressure on Israel to keep them from stomping out Hamas, but you have to wonder if at some point they just don't give a shit what anyone else thinks anymore, especially not the Americans and Europeans that are currently trying to oust the government.
Overall, this whole thing is a distraction from the fact that the economic situation is getting worse and worse with each passing day. We might be looking at a major stock market crash as the housing market continues to get worse, and prices are beginning to actually fall as people sell houses to try and recoup some liquidity to pay bills.
