The UK has probably the strongest of the "TERFs" of any other western nation in terms of actual political pressure. So any "shift" isn't back towards normalcy or decency. Its back into radical feminism and women being top of the totem pole instead of trannies.
Like, one of the reasons for the clinic shift was because a tranny raped a woman in a clinic and the staff said no rape could occur because there was no man in the clinic (UK law says only men can rape), so everyone just assumed the woman lied. Until it came out and suddenly they were under a lot of pressure.

Aren't they shifting a bit though? I thought they closed most of all gender clinics and moved from affirming to "watchful waiting."
