Again, podcast. Same problem as a video. It's a lengthy time investment for the consumer, to save time for the creator to not have to type it up and present it in writing.
I view that as being backwards.
I might be standing here texting while making sure our dumbass contractors don't break a high voltage power supply, but that doesn't mean I'm going to engage with something that just fundamentally doesn't respect my time.
It's not just the time investment, its the lack of searchability and non-linearity for audio and video. You can jump around in text very easily, allowing easy referencing of different parts. Thus arguments and counter arguments are better and more thought out.

I like podcasts fine because I can listen to them while I drive or walk.
