I have only so many hours upon this Earth. If some whackjob stabs me in the arm, the amount of hours I have on this Earth will not be diminished, except the hour or so it takes to stitch it up. If I'm held up for two hours due to these morons, I have lost more lifespan, more lifeforce, more of my precious remaining time upon this planet, than being stabbed.
I have experienced many pains, far worse than something like getting a nail through your foot, or a blade across the arm. Don't spit on me and tell me that it's raining, I know the value of Time. All this tells me is you're a net time waster.
