He's getting more active again, doing the media rounds and the like. How's everyone feeling about the dude?
I will say, despite his bumbling retard routine, I find him ridiculously charismatic if nothing else. Even if I don't agree with him on something, I can often appreciate how he says it. I've criticized him for it for years, but I just wish he'd be a bit more clear, so people who aren't in the know actually understand what he's talking about, but perhaps it's part of his act. Say something true, but in such a way that it just seems stupid, get the media to focus on it. Seems to have worked for him for many years.
Did people listen to his recent interview with Kristen Welker? She did the standard "get Trump" routine and, as per tradition, largely just got Trumped.
I wish we had better options, but I personally think Trump is far from the worst.
So, yeah, how are people feeling about Trump?
Interviewers always seem to be debating Trump.
I generally like how he's handled things, with a few exceptions. One is criticizing DeSantis for the best thing he did, smashing Disney. Two is not being able to answer if you can change gender. Three is his focus on 2020.
If you listen to him in a friendly interview or better in the leaked tapes he speaks clearly.
This "bumbling retard routine" is a strategy against an entirely hostile media; it's hard to selectively misquote him when there's three different thoughts in one sentence.
Then what happens is instead of accurately quoting him they pretend he said a thing and the (few) people look it up see the media lied about what he said. I'd say Trump's Drunken Fist style is a big part of non-Democrats having sub-10% trust in media.
Disney really didn't get smashed, and the way he did it is going to get the whole thing overturned.
For some reason, a lot of Republicans are trying to swing for the fences in really unsophisticated ways that keeps having them lose ground.
Trump really is one of the only Republicans that actually knows how to win.
