De León did not condemn Martinez’s remarks during the conversation, instead accusing Bonin of using his black son as a prop
Sounds like he's actually the only sane guy of the bunch.
He didn't make the offensive remarks. He just didn't start hyperventilating and outraging because someone else said something offensive.
And he's probably right about the prop comment. We've all seen how leftists use kids as props, whether it's by turning them into LGBTs or by adopting a black kid as a gay couple.
He's just disarming one of the usual tactics they employ against Republicans because it's being used against him. This guy is heavily aligned with La Raza and is heavily anti-gun to the point of sponsoring new legislation and spreading propaganda about "ghost guns".
This whole debacle is about the Hispanic coalition in LA believing that they are now more powerful than the general progressive voting bloc, and are no longer beholden to the demands of blacks. De Leon's reelection campaign shows that they are confident that he will endure further accusations of "anti-blackness".

It's California, so it makes sense, but La Raza is an actual threat, the largest racial supremacist group in the nation that somehow is allowed to exist. His kind are probably fine to be contained to cities, but their rhetoric shouldn't be allowed to spread. Lest they try to steal parts of the country back and make it a second-world ethnostate.
If it's not okay to be White, then it's not okay to be Black, Hispanic or whatever either.
As shown everywhere, once there are not enough White people ( the only color-blind ) to act as a buffer / punching-bag, the terminally-diverse area quickly decays into a violent shithole.
I'm just admiring the hypocrisy of the Democrats running a candidate who refuses to denounce racism against blacks, but they can't do anything about it because he's a minority.
Hypocrisy is always worth pointing out. This guy is a perfect example of how they ignore problems in their 'own party' if it is inconvenient.
Next time they get their panties in a twist over a white republican you can remind them that people like De Leon are representatives of their party.

Sounds like a "let them fight" situation.
