So she lies about a co-worker and boyfriend (don't fuck your co-workers people) and gets proven wrong.

Not that this affects anything that much, but it's actually the opposite: the article reported that the boyfriend was determined to be lying about the incident.

I think you misread it.

The co-worker, Kevin Novinger, claimed the act never happened, and prosecutors declined to press charges.

They did not press charges, they investigated and found no proof.

EDIT: Oh I see that the county determined he was lying. You are right, but the psychologist later determined she was lying.
