I’ll probably get it around thanksgiving. I was watching the HeelzvsBabyface livestream that got so much attention. I avoided arguing with the trolls in his comment section otherwise I’d still be on there with the people who said everyone has pronouns or that pronouns are welcoming.
I know some say to just roll your eyes and continue but this acknowledgment of a tiny percentage of delusional people is beyond idiotic.
I’ve also heard that they really hammer THE MESSAGE and there is the usual “representation”
I feel kinda bad because I know there are female gamers and I have some nieces who play games (granted they are games you would expect girls to play) but this almost decade long push for more women in gaming is beyond annoying. As well as the “everything has to appeal to everyone” marketing idea.
Like I said I’ll probably buy it around thanksgiving and there will be cool mods I’d imagine. I’m still playing heavily modded Skyrim and can’t wait for the oblivion mod.
Next up is Elder Scrolls 6
Three primary questions, considering you've played a bunch. Is it fun? How's exploration feel, especially compared to past games like Fallout or Skyrim? How bad/intrusive is THE MESSAGE? Thanks!
Now that's just unforgivable.
It's not just games, they do it for movies too. It's really messed up. They're so scared of beauty that, even in their alleged quest for "representation," they make most minorities look like fucking mutants. There's occasionally attractive blacks and Asians in movies/TV, but it seems like more often, especially if they're race swapping, they have to add that little extra bit of insult and just pick people who look like absolute genetic rejects. Such equality, such respect. "We love minorities, we just hate beauty more," they seem to be saying. Not that they even love minorities, but that's a separate topic.
That's kind of jarring. As is taking some corpse's spacesuit, but they're still left with it. As weird as stripping your dead enemies felt sometimes in past games, it looks weirder taking their armor and not changing their appearance. Such a weird choice.
yeah, they kept it to a minimum. in fallout 4, you had meat bags. in skyrim you had skeletons and body parts everywhere.
