The rampant femininsm turned me off most normie media over a decade ago. Every action show is either female protag or male protag with quirky female protag as partner.
Unfortunately, that's become the baseline for most shows. To the point that Princess Peach running circles around Mario in his own movie (including telling a huge crowd that Mario isn't important) is considered "woke-free" entertainment.
In the Mario movie, Mario is not a native of the Mushroom Kingdom, he got truck isekai’d into it
