I'm in an apartment so I've been trying to get stuff going on the balcony. It's glass, so I used a shipping skid to make a two level setup; tomatoes and peas on the bottom so they can climb, lettuce and herbs on top.
I'm also experimenting with guerilla gardening; I've got a secret potato box in the empty field behind my place and I might sneak some more skids out there beside the fence next year.
imagine if we could get even a small percentage of "right wing" people to grow some of their some of their own food, regardless of their living situation
it would put a huge dent in the "eat the bugs" plans to for social control by manufacturing a food crisis
they would then have to go full holodomor mask off to make that happen
grow food
I'm hardening off my first seedlings now, all greens and herbs because those are supposed to be easiest to start with
if I can get those to work then on to vegetables
this channel looks really promising for making low investment no-flow hydroponic systems: https://www.youtube.com/@KeepOnGrowin
