Not for lack of trying. The swamp critters in D.C. keep REEEEEEEing about "muh taxation without representation" every time there's an election. Of course, when you suggest D.C. retrocede the land back to Maryland (as outlined in the US Constitution), they start REEEEEEEing about that, too.
It was a mistake to give D.C. Electoral College votes.
As if any of the 91 charges have any validity in real law, in any of the 4 locations.
