From the end of Farscape S1 when he puts on the PK uniform to the end of S2 is the best scifi TV ever made. I like S3 as well, and the rest of S1 is worth watching for characterization. S4 gets a little weird, and then the miniseries is a great finale.
It's like with movies, when I was little and saw it I only saw it in bits because it showed up on television back in the day when it did air and I had no idea what was going on because of course, television just feeds you randomized episodes. One of my greatest pet hates about television was how the announcers even to this day constantly keep claiming 'BRAND NEW EPISODE NO ONE'S SEEN BEFORE' and even you know it's a Simpsons episode from the early 2000's from before the show sucked balls.
Now though thanks to modern tech I can sit down and enjoy a show in full at my own pace without any damn interruptions from all that cringe. Television absolutely deserves to die. It's the same with cinema really because almost every time I went there was always some obnoxious twats nattering to each other in the background.
Now I can have a full theatre experience in my own house if I want to, it's wonderful and I haven't even gone that fancy. I just put a monitor I already had up on the wall in front of my bed lol, PC and wireless headphones ftw.
Thanks for making me want to watch Babylon 5.
You mean watch it again, right? Have you not seen it yet? It has to be one of the top 5 scifi shows ever made.
Most people get turned off by the first season. That's why you always need to advise them that the show really takes off in season 2.
I might give it another go then. Never got in to it when it aired and couldn't stick with it a few years ago when I gave it a go.
Same with farscape
