Well they shouldn’t say to ignore “the bad parts”. That’s when they need to have a discussion about it although I’m guilty of not studying like I should and I know other Christians are in that same boat. I plan to do a cover to cover read if the Bible and do a better analysis. I’ve read it all but in different secretions at a time
I like sir. David Suchet. I'm a huge fan of his interpretation of Poirot and you can tell he is a good actor when he reads the bible. Is all on youtube.

Audio book while working out. Or going for a walk.
Also while falling asleep it works great if the reader has a smooth voice.
I was thinking about seeing if they digitized the versions read by James Earl Jones or Charlton Heston

Thanks to OP I'm currently listening thru Numbers, I tried once before but it starts kind of slow but becomes a lot more interesting.
I think certain parts are easier to read than others but I get something out of it all.
